Wine Tasting & Antiquing

Wine-Tasting-Vintage-Shopping-Memorial-Day-Excursions-Outfit-DiCorcia-Interior-DesignOne of our favorite weekend excursions is visiting some of the local vineyards on Long Island. Tasting the new vintages accompanied by a bit of cheese and fruit is completely acceptable behavior for 1:00 PM on a Saturday, and we fully embrace this “culture”. Followed up by a bit of antiquing, I can’t think of a better way to spend the day!

These John Robshaw-esque print pants ($59.90) fit in perfectly with my red, white and blue theme for the weekend. I have the same cut in a floral pattern from last year, and they are seriously the most flattering style of trousers I have ever owned! Kate Spade Saturday is killing it with so many affordable chic options, and I’m loving this v-back tank ($30). Accompanied by a linen scarf ($49.50), blue and red bangles ($68), a nautical pinky ring ($35) and a fabulous pair of shades ($390) that resemble little stars would keep things very festive. I’d finish off the look with these laser-cut sandals ($39.95) from the Gap – such a great price! – and a large tote ($120) to store all my treasures found throughout the day.

  1. I am definitely going with a red, white and blue theme this weekend too! My word doc of copy pasted images of what to pack is very patriotic right now 🙂 Have a good weekend!
