Peonies are by far one of favorite varieties, and I just can’t resist picking up a bunch (or 3) when they’re in season!

When Billy and I first got engaged I seriously contemplated a spring date just so we could include peonies in the arrangements. Sadly we both majorly suffer from seasonal allergies and the fear of runny noses and red eyes sent us searching for a summer date. So to make up for it, I always overindulge this time of year with vases filled to the brim in our house.

From mixed arrangements to single variety displays, I just love them all! What’s your favorite way to arrange peonies?

  1. I know this time of the year is the worst for allergies! I die for peonies, and luckily was able to get them for my wedding (spring date.) But they are so expensive to have on a regular basis, we often just buy a potted orchid and call it a day. I can usually keep them alive for a couple of months. Hyacinths are also one of my favorites this time of year. Have a great weekend!

  2. When I saw that this post was about peonies I practically yelped with that same type of excitement. Peonies are my absolute favorite flower, so anyone else that loves them just as much as me is a girl from my own heart! I hope to have them at my wedding one day!

I love peonies in every form and in any arrangement, but I feel like they are just so perfect on their own that I often lead to just keeping it simple with a vase solely of peonies (but maybe in various hues!)
