As much as I’m thoroughly enjoying this Summer here in the Northeast, lately I’ve had the itch to pack my bags and take off on an adventure. Our trip to New Orleans this past March was incredible, and if our weekends weren’t jam-packed between now and October, I’d try to persuade Billy to decamp for Parco dei Principi in Sorrento, Italy – not that I think he’d need much convincing, look at this place!
Designed in 1961 by Gio Ponti – one of the most famed Italian architects and designers of the 20th century – Parco dei Principi was one of the first “designer” hotels in the world. I popped into the albergo during a jaunt through Italy a few years ago and fell in love at the lobby alone.
And can we discuss this terrace?! Amazing!!!
