I have a confession – I haven’t been loving Lonny Magazine since Michelle Adams departure. That’s not to say I strongly dislike it, but lately it just seems to be lacking that je ne sais quoi, Domino-like-sparkle I adored. I quickly flipped through the July/August issue yesterday, and was left with a mild level of satisfaction – opposed to my typical adrenaline high, omg this is so good, I must re-read at least 3 more times response.
Then I was on Pinterest last night and came across several gorgeous images of this masculine Montauk beach house belonging to famed photographer Ben Watts (brother to Naomi). Naturally I needed to know all of the details so I excitedly clicked through, and imagine my surprise when the very same issue of Lonny I’d read only a few hours earlier popped up on my screen! How could I have missed this?! Those buttery leather director chairs should have stopped me dead in my tracks!
So why did I miss this beautiful abode the first time around? I’m thinking it may have something to do with the new layout and smaller scale photos.
What’s your take on the “new” Lonny? What layout style do you prefer?
