Do you guys make New Years resolutions? I never have in the past thinking it was a silly sort of custom – but what’s so wrong with a little self reflection? I feel like life has been on fast forward lately, with a lot of “do, do, do”, and not enough contemplation over the bigger picture. Like so many of you, I always put my job, family and friends above what’s good for me. And while that sounds very noble, I’m not sure it actually benefits anyone in the end?
I used to work out and love it, considering it my “me time”. Now it just feels like another chore on my to-do list. I need to find a new routine that I enjoy and inspires me. I’ve heard really good things about The Gunnar Challenge 8 – have any of you tried it? And I received a few very generous Christmas gifts, including a Vitamix and gift card for a year of monthly massages, both of which perfectly complement my “mission”!
Do you guys have any tips on workouts, recipes or ways to relax – and most importantly how to maintain them? I would love to hear your thoughts!
