Hamptons Designer Showhouse 2013

Yesterday was a little overcast so my mom and I headed into Bridgehampton to check out the 2013 Hamptons Designer Showhouse. Unfortunately the cloudy skies didn’t produce the best lighting for pictures, but there were a few rooms that were just too good not to share! In typical Showhouse fashion, each space was decorated by a different designer. Here were our favorites:

Little Girls Bedroom • Barbara Ostrom AssociatesBarbara-Ostrom-Associates-Hamptons-Designer-Showhouse-via-DiCorcia-Interior-Design-NY-NJThis room was actually labeled “Rear Bedroom II”, but in my mind it was a little girls bedroom who loved playing with her dolls and riding horses – copious amounts of frivolous imagination is mandatory in my line of work! 😉

While most of them were a little over-the-top, I think it’s important to keep an open mind as Showhouses aren’t typically designed for reality. I really enjoyed taking away little notes from various rooms for inspiration!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend! See ya on Tuesday.
