I’m not a huge fan of reality TV, but Million Dollar Decorators is one of the few shows I actually watch. This Nantucket beach cottage designed by Jeffery Alan Marks was featured on Season 2, and I was so excited to be reminded of its sublime existence in this month’s Coastal Living. I absolutely adore the modern twist on relaxed coastal style! Marks unofficially coined his slogan as “couture design for barefoot living” – gotta love that! Here’s my take…

  1. i really like the “a lil less clutter look” here. some beach/cottage homes have a little too much going on for me, but even then, i enjoy the cozy feel!!!

  2. Do you ever feel like you have split personalities when it comes to decorating? I loved the look of your last post’s beach themed abode but I love this look equally as much. I mean who doesn’t want a row of adirondacks surrounded by hydrangeas? so classic.
