The hand-crafted pizzas were made to order from this incredibly genius, brick oven on wheels by Pizza Luca – complete with a Stefano Ferrara pizza oven! It was an amazing Fall day meant to be spent outdoors, the weather seriously could not have been more perfect! If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend checking out the Harvest Party when it rolls around next year!

A Fall Weekend out East

Although summer is probably my most cherished season overall, my absolute favorite time of year to head out East is during the fall! The light in the Hamptons is somewhat notorious for its unique color spectrum created from the ocean and sound both sourcing reflected light; and to see the change of the leaves amongst it is simply magical! Add in the abundance of farmers markets & pumpkin patches, the nonexistence of traffic, along with the fact that Kardashian’s and such like crews have skipped town – and the quaint little Hamptons towns are actually quaint once more! We’re heading out this weekend for Wölffer Estate’s annual Harvest Party, and I’m really excited after the amazing time we had last year!

Saturday night we headed to one of my favorite restaurants on the island, Topping Rose House – and in true form, Mr. Colicchio did not disappoint!

Sunday mornings out east are always spent with my dad, hitting up the local farmers markets for our Sunday feast! Our little princess Bella turned 10, so we stopped by Iacono to pick up a few chickens for our own dinner, and to provide Bella with a celebratory treat of chicken and rice (crazy, I know!). Billy and I also hit up new-to-us Montauk Brewing Company for a beer tasting – which we both highly recommend! My mom and I scoped out the Montauk Art Show, where I fell in love with this gorgeous creations of Tail Feathers jewelry line (the emerald and onyx bracelet can be found here!).

Hope you all have been enjoying the summer weather! xo

A Touch of Whimsey & A Touch of Weird

And this one located in the quaint, sleepy town of Sag Harbor has plenty of character to boast! I adore the neutral palette and well-lived-in aesthetic, paired with the traditional structure; resulting in an authentic and collected space that owner and interior designer, Michelle Smith, coins as “almost accidental looking”. Smith states: “Every room should have a touch of whimsey and a touch of weird, but you shouldn’t be able to pinpoint what those touches are.” – I couldn’t agree more!

What’s your favorite style beach houses?

After a rainy week, I was so happy to head out East to celebrate my mom’s birthday and for a quick client consult.

With vases of bacon greeting us upon arrival, to say the pork-centric tasting menu left little to be desired is a bit of an understatement! And the line-up of local brewers was impeccable – I was particularly fond of Moustache Brewing Co. out of Riverhead!

1770-House-DiCorcia-Interior-Design-NY-NJWe were in celebratory mode all weekend for my mom’s birthday, so the trip was made even more indulgent with visits to a few of our favorite restaurants, including: 1770 House, Nick & Toni’s and Cafe Max – check out a full (and ever-growing) list of my favorites here.

Their gallery walls are what my dreams are made of – all of which is available in their online store (kinda dangerous!).

How was your weekend?
