Peonies are by far one of favorite varieties, and I just can’t resist picking up a bunch (or 3) when they’re in season!

When Billy and I first got engaged I seriously contemplated a spring date just so we could include peonies in the arrangements. Sadly we both majorly suffer from seasonal allergies and the fear of runny noses and red eyes sent us searching for a summer date. So to make up for it, I always overindulge this time of year with vases filled to the brim in our house.

From mixed arrangements to single variety displays, I just love them all! What’s your favorite way to arrange peonies?

Currently Coveting • A Hint of The Tropics

Everyone seems to be on vacation somewhere fabulous lately, and while the tropics aren’t anywhere in my near future, I think these shorts just may be the next best thing! I’m really loving the palm print and chambray material. Paired with my favorite fitted sweater (that I literally have in 10+ colors!), comfy shoes and an oversized tote; would make for the perfect ensemble to head to the farmers market this weekend!

Happy Friday! Any of you heading out of town? If so, I hope you’re going somewhere fabulous!

Spring-Inspired DIY Ideas

One of my favorite gifts that Spring brings is the return of my garden! Last year was my first real go at it, and this year I have so many ideas and best practices I want to implement. Terrain is by far one of my of my favorite online shops to peruse for outdoor decor and inspiration – it’s my mission to make a pilgrimage to one of their stores this spring! Their blog The Bulletin has been chock full of DIY’s lately, here’s a few of my favorites that I’m dying to try my hand at:

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.

Can you believe Spring is less than 30 days away?! I don’t know about you, but I’m beyond excited to see this snowy cold weather say sianara and welcome back my garden perennials! When Spring arrives, I like to transition out our faux-fur throws and velvet pillows in favor of lighter weight options.

Pillows in general are a quick and relatively inexpensive way to update any room. Of course florals always come to my mind when Spring rolls around (Miranda Priestly would be thrilled, I’m sure), and these are a few I just can’t stop thinking about.

How do you update your home for Spring?
