Aruba 2014

DiCorcia-Design-Aruba-VacationDiCorcia-Design-Aruba-Vacation-3DiCorcia-Design-Aruba-Vacation-2Apologies for the radio silence this past week, I hadn’t intended on taking such a long hiatus! We headed south for our annual family vacation in Aruba – and I must admit, unplugging for a bit was just what I needed! I feel refreshed, inspired and ready to get started on a few new exciting projects!

I kept up with my New Years resolution, which started with hitting the gym every morning – I’m completely obsessed with this tank and these crops (isn’t it funny how some cute gear can make such a huge difference?!). My family’s a pretty active bunch, so snorkeling, paddle boarding. kayaking and daily walks on the beach took up the majority of our afternoons. These bandeau bikini tops turned out to be one of my best pre-vacation purchases – no unwanted tan lines, they fit like a glove and are only $18! I read a couple of books, but The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks was by far my favorite! Of course it wouldn’t be vacation without some fantastic meals out and this breezy dress ended up being ideal for the laid back island vibe (you can check out a list of my favorite restaurants here).

I hope you all had a fabulous week, I’m so looking forward to catching up!
