And while there are so many wonderful artists that offer their works at affordable prices, when it comes to large scale pieces, you’re typically looking at a couple hundred bucks (on the low end of the spectrum). I for one rarely ever think to incorporate my own photography into our home, aside from a few small picture frames here and there; but as exemplified above, it really is an ingenious solution and so incredibly affordable! Costing less than $10 to print at your local Kinkos, and you don’t even need any fancy equipment – the third photo of the two boys was taken with an iPhone! You can even forgo a frame by mounting it yourself!

  1. I think it’d be fun to do a beyond giant sized one that fills an entire wall so it feels like you could just hop right into the pic. But that just might be my inner child coming out from watching too much Mary Poppins.

  2. I have always loved that living room in the first image ever since it first appeared in Lonny a few years back. Such a beautiful and light filled space, but I would agree to say that the large scale photo really makes the room!
I love your suggestion to incorporate it into our homes, and also wonderful how budget friendly it is!
