Accessorizing with Fruit

Accessorizing-with-Fruit-DiCorcia-Interior-Design-NY-NJOnce all of the furniture has been put in place, accessories elevate a room to the next level. Art, pillows, throws, trinkets from travels abroad, lighting, books, etc. add lovely personality to the space, and I always like to include something fresh in the mix. House plants and bunches of cut blooms are a constant in my home (if you follow me on Instagram you might be familiar with my “Blooms of The Week”) – and lately I’ve been taking full advantage of the sweet Summer harvest including big bowls of fruit scattered throughout the house. Equally functional as they are beautiful, I cook with the produce more often when in plain view, and fewer items seem to get lost in the back of the vegetable drawer.
